Leslie Donahue (Kinson)
President
Specializing in estimating and project management for multifamily renovations, Leslie founded Forefront Renovations in 2022. After leading her previous team at Kapella Group in an executive role for multiple years, Leslie’s extensive knowledge of the project flow from concept to completion serves as the backbone of Forefront Renovation’s success today. Her work ethic, strategic thinking, and active listening skills have allowed her to gain knowledge of the industry that would take most people decades.
Throughout her career, Leslie has held project management positions in various industries, including fashion, hospitality, and marketing. Her diverse background has allowed her to develop a broad set of technical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Admired for her outgoing personality and problem-solving mindset, she has a team of experts backing Forefront Renovations both in the field and behind the scenes.
As a small, focused leadership team, we bring the same tenacity, drive, and clear vision to every project that Leslie has built her career on—hands-on in estimating, deeply involved in project management, and relentlessly focused on doing what we say we will do.

Senior Project Director
Since 1993, Tracy has been dedicated to the realm of Multifamily Housing and Renovations. Her leadership has steered teams and vendors through renovation programs exceeding five million dollars. In the multifamily housing arena, Tracy’s journey of professional growth has been enriched by invaluable mentorship within the renovation/construction industry.
Tracy’s proficiency in leadership is evident in her adept management of teams, ensuring a friendly and cohesive environment while adhering to timelines and structured renovation processes. Attuned to the needs of Owners and Investors, she possesses a keen understanding of the essential elements required for timely project completion within budgetary constraints.
Sam Donahue
Senior Project Manager
Sam, a former business owner who successfully operated a barbershop in Loveland for 13 years, transitioned into the construction industry in 2020.
Beginning as a general laborer, he quickly advanced to the role of superintendent at TY Build, where he led both residential and commercial projects over the past three years. His combination of construction expertise, strong leadership, and entrepreneurial background makes him an exceptional project manager.
With a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and outstanding communication skills, Sam excels in his role. His dedication and willingness to go above and beyond earn him the respect of the leadership team, on-site personnel, clients, and subcontractors alike.
Chris Castro
Project Consultant
Chris Castro, owner of Bravo Construction Services and a Class A General Contractor, brings over 17 years of experience in commercial construction, including three years as a City of Denver inspector.
With almost two decades of experience as a superintendent overseeing large commercial projects for Brinkman Construction and Ryan Companies, Chris brings both field expertise and regulatory knowledge. His comprehensive experience is invaluable across all projects, providing guidance, insight, and support at every stage.
As a valued member of our team, he specializes in consulting on our commercial projects, navigating the permitting process, and providing tips and tricks to ensure a smooth project flow. More than just a consultant, Chris is a skilled problem solver and facilitator, providing expert guidance from initial planning and pre-construction through project completion.
With a lean, hands-on leadership team, we intentionally partner with seasoned industry veterans who bring decades of multifamily and commercial renovation experience. Erik Good
Project Consultant
Erik, a Colorado native, began his construction career in 1987 while attending Arizona State University, working for a construction supply company in Mesa, AZ. He mastered the stonemasonry trade and gained hands-on experience across various phases of the construction process before becoming a partner in a general contracting firm in Phoenix.
Initially focused on residential projects, Erik transitioned into commercial construction in 2010, managing tenant and capital improvement projects ranging from auto dealerships to healthcare facilities to multifamily communities.
With expertise in pre construction planning, client relations, and project management, he is a trusted consultant in every stage of the design-build process.
Danny Browning
Project Consultant
Well versed in the oversight of capital improvements, renovations, and day-to-day maintenance operations, Danny has worked with ownership and management groups of premier multifamily and assisted living firms since 1984.
Starting out nearly four decades ago as a service manager, his keen attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills enabled him to exceed expectations in nearly every management and construction role. By working in 41 states throughout his career, Danny has developed a robust understanding of all aspects of construction and operations for multifamily and senior living communities.
He has excelled in leadership roles such as Regional Senior Project Manager and Director of Construction and prides himself on his ability to take what he has gained in his experiences and teach it to others. His knowledge and leadership abilities in these industries are unparalleled and make him an incredible asset to our team and our clients.
At Forefront, we call our on-site leaders Crew Leads—not superintendents—because they set the tone by working shoulder to shoulder with their teams. They carry the same trust and respect as our leadership, guiding quality, safety, and pace on every job; without them, none of the work gets done.

Ariel "Meistro"
Crew Lead
Ariel, known on site as “Meistro” (teacher), leads Forefront crews of 5–15 people with a rare mix of skill, heart, and hustle. Originally from Nicaragua, he is revered in his home country as an expert craftsman for his intricate finish carpentry and ornate woodwork, but had to start from the bottom after moving to the U.S. 14 years ago, working his way across framing, drywall, paint, carpentry, tile, flooring, and finish work.
In just two years, Ariel grew from general laborer to Crew Lead, and his leadership has only continued to blossom. His positive, can‑do attitude, ability to delegate while overseeing every step, and contagious joy embody the spirit of Forefront Renovations—he is loved by the entire team, and they wouldn’t be here without him.
Diego "The Whiz"
Crew Lead
Diego, known on site as “The Whiz,” joined Forefront two years ago, immediately proving his value by rescuing a derailed project left by a previous contractor. While most would avoid fixing another’s mistakes, Diego embraced the challenge with excellence and grace, and made a tough turnaround look easy.
From day one he earned his place, and since then he’s grown not only his skillset but his leadership. Diego has learned how to work and teach his 6-8 person crew at the same time, hit deadlines while still delivering top‑tier quality, and problem‑solve when things don’t go as planned—all with honesty, integrity, and humility. His steady, can‑do attitude when things are hard is a quality the entire team looks up to.
